Description: Helper script for LVM snapshot backups using dirvish
 dirvish-vm-client is a helper script for virtual guests' file systems
 that are backed up by dirvish using the dirvish-vm-server script
 (facilitating LVM snapshot on the VM host system).

 This package requires the dirvish-vm-server package to be installed
 on the virtual machine host.
 .
 With dirvish-vm-client you can start/stop init scripts and remount
 partitions read-only/read-write. These procedures are useful with
 LVM snapshot based backup processes.
 .
 Best backup integrity is achieved if as few open files as possible
 exist on the backed up file system. To gain this, data sensible
 services (like LDAP, MySQL etc.) have to be stopped before executing
 the LVM snapshot command. Once the snapshot has been taken services can
 be immediately restarted. On some systems you might even want to remount
 your backed up partitions read-only before the snapshot and read-
 write again after the snapshot has been taken.

 After the backup has been taken the LVM snapshot will be released.
